What is a tenant representative?
A Tenant Representative (Tenant Rep) is a commercial real estate agent that negotiates with the Landlord or Landlord’s representative on the behalf of the Tenant. A Tenant Rep focuses solely on the best interests of a Tenant in order to locate and negotiate the perfect space for their small business. They act as a middleman in order to drive a more efficient line of negotiation, advocating for the important details that a small business requires to grow.
WHy do I need one?
As a small business owner, you may be asking yourself this question while searching for a new location for leasing or while evaluating your current lease renewal. You absolutely can do it yourself, and, as the owner, no one knows your business needs better than you.
